Our client is widely recognised as a global leader in their field with over 13,000 employees in the United Kingdom and Ireland, they support both businesses and public sector organisations on their journey towards net-zero.As an integral member of their Northern Ireland operations, the Commercial Manager will provide strategic advice on contracts of more than £35 million, leading a varied team through pricing and tender processes. The post-holder will work closely with their team of Quantity Surveyors and commercial supervisors to maximise operational efficiency whilst ensuring project profitability.Reporting into the Regional Director, the Commercial Manager will manage the accurate profitability reporting for the Northern Ireland region to identify potential opportunities and risks monthly. The successful applicant will work closely with the Operations Manager and procurement department to establish regional supply chain deals, ensuring appropriate choices are made and buying gains are maximised.The Commercial Manager will demonstrate the ability to lead a high-performing team with a hands-on approach to projects, possessing excellent communication skills needed to influence the team and clients alike. Responsibility for identifying and managing financial risks stemming from working in new areas and with new suppliers, specifically contract complexities such as TUPE.The following experience is also essential:Proven experience within Senior Quantity Surveying or Commercial Manager position, managing multiple high-value projects simultaneously.Skilled negotiator with proven experience in a commercial environment.Experience managing the bidding process from enquiry stage to final submission, successfully winning new business.Demonstrable financial acumen with the ability to analyse complex financial data to ensure operational efficacy and maximise profitability.3rd level qualification in
Building/Construction,
