At a glance:Contract type - This position is a 12 month Fixed Term contractBudgeted Salary - Up to £60,000Flexible working - This is a blended working role, therefore your time will primarily be split between working from home and the London Head Office. However, there will also be an expectation to visit other locations as the need arises.About the role:A great opportunity to join the John Lewis Financial Services Commercial team on a 12 month fixed term contract.We are looking for a Commercial Manager who has experience with Credit Cards to work in our business. Your focus will be to create more value for our customers and our business by delivering bespoke marketing campaigns and offers to customers, driving incremental sales for the Partnership.Also supporting the delivery and ambitions of the multi-channel commercial strategy, working with Third Party providers and internal stakeholders. Managing elements of the product lifecycle to deliver maximum customer value in line with the strategy and operational plan.Key responsibilities:Leveraging insights and internal and external networks to keep abreast of key customer requirements, market conditions and trends, including technological advancements.Owning business processes, frameworks and tools within your area, continuously improving them to drive efficiency and effectiveness.Assisting in planning, analysing and delivering product developments to maximise value through New Business and In Life activity.Owning elements of the product life cycle and mix to maximise customer value and returns.Managing and delivering projects as assigned by the Senior Commercial Manager ensuring delivery in line with the critical path.Undertaking analysis and delivering recommendations for product enhancements which drive competitive position, customer satisfaction and profit based on sound industry and market research.Responsible for compliance with John Lewis policies and procedures within the legal and regulatory framework.Essential skills you'll need:Experience of data analysis and making recommendationsFinancial Services Product Management experienceExperience of working within a complex matrixed environmentHave previous experience with Credit Cards products (or other Financial Services products)Commercial Acumum experienceIdeally have experience of Marketing and building campaign managementsBenefits of the Partnership and the role:- Hybrid Working.- Full - time working holiday entitlement 25 days holiday, plus public and bank holidays (this is pro-rated for part time hours).- Excellent work life balance, including focus on well being and flexible working and our marketing leading equal parenthood leave Policy- Defined Contribution pension scheme where your contributions will be matched by the Partnership (up to 8% of pay) and, after three years' service, you'll receive an additional Partnership contribution of 4% of pay, regardless of whether you pay in or not- You'll get Partnership discount in store and online once you complete your Earning Membership period.
