Commercial Gas Engineer

Marble Talent Group are currently recruiting for a Commercial Gas Engineer for a Wiltshire based company. Applicants would be required to oversee a number of current contracts within Dorset, as well as some parts of Wiltshire and Somerset.

Hours - Monday to Friday 40 hour working week

Salary - �40,000 - �45,000�

Role:

• Diagnosing faults in gas boilers, heating systems, hot/cold water systems, and executing necessary remedial repairs.


• Performing planned preventative maintenance on an assortment of gas appliances, heating systems, and hot/cold water systems.


• Undertaking minor installations of HVAC systems, fault-finding, and carrying out remedial works.


• Conducting breakdown, service, and maintenance works on a diverse range of commercial and domestic heating systems.


• Responding to emergency gas leaks promptly and ensuring safety measures are implemented as required.

Requirements:

• Certifications: CCN1, CENWAT, COCN1, CODNCO1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1, TPCP1a (essential).


• OFTEC accreditation (OFT10-101, OFT10-105E, OFT10-600a) would be advantageous, though not essential.


• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in a relevant Mechanical discipline (or equivalent experience).


• Ability to pass DBS/Police background checks for access to sensitive sites.


• Health & Safety training.


• Able to participate in weekend call out rota - currently 1 in 6.
