What you'll be doing...The Finance Business Manager for B2B is a key role within the finance support structure for B2B division of Future Plc.
It will report into the Commercial Finance Director of B2B and will Business Partner a number of senior leaders within the B2B division.
The Finance Director B2B is responsible for the financial stewardship and financial management of the B2B Division and will have a detailed understanding of the areas of the business, supporting decision making, creating and maintaining a robust control environment, planning, forecasting and creating insight to better understand the risks and opportunities of B2B and this role will support in all aspects of those tasks..This role will be a key link between the finance department and the business, both in the operational finance functions and the management account hub.Experience that'll put you ahead of the curve... Commercial industry experience with an understanding of the media/B2B business a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across Finance, business leaders and operational teams, including the ability to quickly absorb and apply new information.
Proactive approach to work, with an enquiring mind with strong analysis, numeracy skills and the willingness to take leadership of complex/difficult tasks.
Able to strike the right balance between challenge and support across the organisation at all levels.
Effective prioritisation of workloads and initiatives which deliver results in a timely and relevant manner.
Able to service business leaders in North America (Central Eastern Time GMT -5-7hrs) and adapt working hours appropriately.
Good knowledge of financial systems, financial reporting, internal controls.
