Excellent opportunity to join the Commercial Finance department at JD Sports!This position is a key role in within the Eastern Europe Region of the JD Finance Team. As the Eastern Europe Commercial Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include all budgeting, forecasting and analysis for multiple countries/companies and stakeholders within the region. There will be focus on store payroll enabling the retail to team to manage this efficiency and drive costs savings. Key point of liaison with the in country teams in order to understand trends and future projections as well as support adhoc requests to provide insight to the field based teams.Sales forecasting and budgeting in collaboration with Retail teamsPayroll forecasting and budgeting in line with the established regional headcount modelPresentation of forecast and budgets reviews to the Head of International Finance and retail team highlighting risks and opportunities to plan.Regular Sales analysis and reporting - providing insight to underlying key drivers of performanceRegular Payroll analysis and reporting - providing insight to good / bad performance, and supporting improvementResponsible for ensuring the integrity of time and attendance systems and associated reporting and including any implementation of new time and attendance systems.Analysis and insight across all store operating costs. Converting this information into efficiencies, working with other departments to achieveAnalysis and insight of central operating overheads, developing benchmarks for efficiencyLonger term growth forecasting and analysis to support the Group's strategic growth plans across EuropeQuickly develop and deliver new analysis to help stakeholders understand changes in the businesses' environmentInput into Cashflow forecasting process to supportSupport Property Finance team on new store investment appraisalsSupport Reporting team to deliver clear and robust reporting and analysisUnderstand commercial retail context allowing review of store and multichannel operational performanceAbility to work with stakeholders across different levels and different countriesManage a team of one in the regionSkills/Experience/Knowledge Needed:CIMA / ACCA / ACA Qualified Accountant - PQE experience essential.Experience with working alongside and influencing multiple senior stakeholders; both financial and non-financialManagement accounts / core finance experience essential.Advanced Excel skills, TM1 experience not essential but an advantageExcellent attention to detail.Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesPositive, flexible, enthusiastic and driven.Flexibility to be able to adapt to a fast pace of changeThe Company:The JD Group is a leading omnichannel retailer of Sports Fashion, Street & Premium Fashion, Outdoors and Gyms with over 60,000 colleagues over 3,400 stores across several retail fascia's in over 30 markets around the world.We are an equal opportunities employer who embraces and values differences.
