Commercial Finance Manager

Job DescriptionMERJE are partnered with a leading FTSE listed Company who are looking for a Interim Senior Commercial Finance Manager to cover Maternity Leave - 12 Month FTC.Reporting to the Director of Commercial Finance and leading a small team of 3 Commercial Finance Analysts, one of your key responsibilities would be to drive performance in the areas you support by leading the team who use data to create relevant, accurate and insightful analysis.
You will have a great understanding of the business area you support, allowing you to predict performance, identify opportunities and highlight risk, which will in turn allow them to deliver on strategy. Leading on the annual budgeting and monthly rolling forecasting processes you will also be embedded in the decision-making process and will objectively challenge and influence stakeholders to help drive decisions that are both commercially compelling and financially secure. You would also be deputising for the Director of Commercial Finance when required.Ideal Candidate criteriaFully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)Experience analysing large volumes of data in a commercial finance environment.Previous experience in Business Partnering, and the ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders.Proven track record in managing and developing high performing teams.Ability to communicate financial information to non-finance audiences.Advanced Excel skillsA passion for developing people.The ability to work autonomously, managing multiple projects and deadlines and prioritising effectively.This would be a hybrid working model with an office presence required 2/3 days a week and for 12 month duration
