Commercial Finance Business Partner

OTTO JAMES CONSULTING is supporting one of the world’s best known manufacturing brands in the delivery of a Commercial Finance Business Partner for UK Operations and Services.
My client is based in their UK Head Offices in Cheadle.
As a senior member of the Commercial Management team you will be delivering decision support to internal customers across the organisation, adding value and business critical information which is profit enhancing.
The Role:
As Finance Business Partner, you will be 100% focused on adding value across the organisation, and you will have zero engagement with the organisations finance SSC. This will free you up to detail and deliver business critical information without the distractions of transactional finance (Management / Financial Accounts etc).
Utilising your influencing and relationship-building skills, you will tackle complex business questions by converting raw data into meaningful and significant business insights. Your analytical skills will mirror your communicative nature and help you to manage the communication and relationships internally across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
• Report, analyse and present UK performance from a Product, Marketing, Site and Operational view point. Deliver impactful analysis based on robust economic, financial, and statistical analysis• Develop analytical models to estimate the impact of different scenarios, assisting in the business decision making process
• Interact directly with multiple departments across the organisation, identify key analyses that deliver valuable business insight and areas of opportunity
• Assist managers and teams throughout the company to understand the power and value of an analytical approach to decision-making, and provide them with the insights that contribute to the strategic goals of the organisation
• Engage with customers to assess existing and upcoming business needs and maintain regular communication to update customers on progress made on projects

Demonstrated ability to work through important business problems and partner with internal clients with a consultative approach Experience working in customer analytics. Strong analytical/modelling skills with ability to convert raw data into actionable business insights
Salary & Package:
£40,000 to £48,000 Full Study Support Bonus (Personal & Business Performance) Parking Flexible Home Working Pension
