MacGregor Black ate partnering with a�Leading Fashion brand,�on the search for a�Commercial Finance Analyst.�This is a permanent role based in�Manchester.

As the�Commercial Finance Analyst,�you will work closely with the senior leadership team, accurately report on business results, providing strategic financial guidance & insightful analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation/review of the company budget, forecast and 3-year plan processes


• Review financial results and provide detailed sales and margin variance analysis vs budget/forecasts identifying factors contributing to movement in margin


• Business partnering with the wider business, supporting commercial decision making


• Provide data driven insights to identify margin improvement opportunities through customer and product analysis


• Provide insight and development of the accounts - drawing insight from data, helping the account teams understand the drivers of performance


• Ad-hoc reporting to support commercial finance, account teams and the wider business

What are we looking for?

• Qualified Accountant


• Proven experience as a commercial analyst/accountant


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill, with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful insights


• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI


• Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting and budgeting


• Exceptional leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate financial information to non financial stakeholders


• A track record of driving process improvements and optimizing financial performance
