A unique function offering the opportunity to business partner across all areas of the division helping to drive trading performance and profitability.Working closely with the Commercial Finance Manager, you will with work other functions outside finance, using data to help make strategic decisions.The role involves interaction across all key business functions from trading and marketing teams through to supply chain and merchandising teams to ensure that decisions being made across the business are driving the desired commercial outcome.Working across over 50 sites globally and the additional complexity that this provides from FX to operational.Responsibilities:Producing and distributing daily, weekly and monthly reports on performance of the businessAnalysis of data and reports to allow informed management decisionsAssisting with budgeting and forecasting on an ongoing basisSensitivity and scenario modelling/analysisAd hoc analysis across all areas of the businessRequirements:Data focussed professional with an analytical mind-set, quick to grasp the fundamentals of a business and have strong communication skillsMust have excellent Excel skillsAbility to manage a high-volume workload in a fast-moving and changeable environmentExperience working with large data sets and complex modelsExperience or knowledge of data systems and coding (eg SQL, Power BI, Tableau) - preferredBenefits:Competitive salaryWellbeing - Company on-site doctor, physio, hairdresser, free on-site gym, employee assistance program (EAP).25 days holiday + Birthday off + Bank HolidaysCompany pension schemeStaff Discounts (All THG Brands) + Discounted Staff Shop on-siteHotel Discounts (We own King Street Hotel - King St has a new spa as well)Hale Country Club Discounts (Spa/Gym/Restaurant)Enhanced parenthood pay after 1 year serviceDiscretionary company bonus schemeIn-house L&D function who can deliver internal sessions as well as support with external courses/certifications/apprenticeships/upskillingYou will have access to use our Tech scheme and Cycle scheme, which is a new salary sacrifice scheme to allow UK employees to purchase from Cycle scheme retailers, and technology from Curry's PC World - through monthly instalments.THG is proud to be a Disability Confident Committed employer.
