Commercial Controller

Our East Yorkshire based client is currently looking for a Commercial Controller to join their team! A market leader in the manufacture of new and supply of rental units into the Construction, Health, Education and Commercial sectors.Job Title Commercial ControllerSalary 40-45k10% employer contributory pensionUp to 12.5% annual bonus25 days holiday + BH’s3 x Salary death in service benefitDivision RentalLocation BrandesburtonReports To Commercial and Finance ManagerPurpose Responsible for managing contracts end to end and commercial control of rental department contracts. Experience, Qualifications & TrainingExcellent Communication and Interpersonal SkillsAbility to handle multiple projects at a given time.Ability to understand drawings and building designProblem solving Commercial contract reviewFinancial project management PC Literate Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook - Intermediate/ Advanced GCSE Maths Level 4 ( c ) or AboveEnglish Level 4 ( c ) or AboveCommercial experience + Industry knowledge and/or QS experience Principle AccountabilitiesPrepare and issue: Regular account development reviews to clients update project management system with revenue and costs to manage the project out turnProject reportsApplications for payment with necessary client approval including sub-contractFinal accounts reconciliation, to be settled within two months of completion of the project Payment certificates Liaising with Managers and clients:To review progress of projectResolve problemsAttend site visits Manage: Manage financial aspects and out turn of projects plus minus 60 projectsManage application and certification process of projectsAuthorisation of purchase orders (receipting)Manage variation process with contractors, clients or customersApproving subcontractor works orders for paymentManage cash collection processReview: Pricing documents for projectsContract reviews for projects Inc.
