Commercial Contracts Lawyer

We are working with a well-established Local Authority in the Greater Manchester Region looking for a Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join their department for an initial 3-month period.The successful candidate must be UK qualified and have upwards of 12 months’ experience in:• Public procurement experience is advantageousExpertise in dealing with a wide range of contracts including:• NEC and general building contracts• Contracts for goods and services• Negotiating and drafting agreementsYou will need to have experience of handling your own legal caseload which will include complex matters.The Council offers a flexible working environment. Previous commercial contracts legal experience in a local authority is essential.Pay rate is between £45-55 per hour.The local authority is looking for a candidate to start as soon as possible.
