Commercial and Contracts Lawyer - Westmorland and Furness Council 

• 6 months contract 


• £50 - £60 per hour 


• Westmorland and Furness Council - Fully remote 

Caseload: 

• Varied caseload of commercial and procurement matters including advising on procurement law, advising on framework agreements, preparing call of contracts, variations, grant funding agreements, subsidy control advice, construction contracts advising on constitution exemptions, key decisions, providing advice on legal implications in officer decision records to award contracts 

Requirements: 

• Full caseload 


• Complex matters 


• 5 years PQE 


• Working independently on a caseload of 35+ matters with limited supervision 


• Must have awareness and experience of working in Local Authority and Governance requirements
