We are working with a strong mid-tier Legal 500 practice in the centre of
Newcastle who are looking for 5 years’ + PQE Commercial Contracts Solicitor to join their busy commercial/corporate practice.
The firm has gone from strength to strength over the last few years, with over 100 staff in total having moved recently into a fantastic new progressive workspace, which is attracting more lawyers to join.
The right candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience of commercial contracts experience and day to day you will be drafting and advising on distribution and agency agreements, franchising, manufacturing and supply contracts, terms and conditions, software development, licensing and distribution, SaaS and PaaS, joint ventures EULAs and more.
You will be one of 2 contracts experts within the wider corporate team which consists of 2 Partners, 1 Associate and 1 NQ.
The client base is impressive with the firm representing large regional and national clients as well as owner managed businesses and SME’s.
The environment/culture here is excellent, senior staff are progressive and approachable and lead from the front. It is not stuffy, everyone get along and there are no ivory towers.

There is flexible working with a hybrid model splitting your work between the office (3 days) and home (2 days). There is no culture of presenteeism, most staff leave daily at 5pm without questions being asked.
