Job Title: Commercial Manager - In Life Outsourcing Contracts (Public Sector)
Location: Remote-based with occasional travel within the UK
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join a dynamic team as a Commercial Manager, specializing in in-life outsourcing contracts within the public sector customer base. As a key player in the organization, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the performance of a significant account, ensuring contract compliance, profitability, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management: Effectively manage in life outsourcing contracts, overseeing terms and conditions, SLAs (Service Level Agreements), and tracking obligations throughout the contract lifecycle.
Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our public sector client, acting as the primary point of contact for contractual matters and ensuring client satisfaction.
Profitability Enhancement: Drive profitability within the contract by identifying opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimization, and operational efficiency improvements.
Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and manage contractual risks, working closely with internal teams to implement strategies that mitigate potential issues.
Performance Tracking: Implement robust systems for tracking contract performance metrics, analysing data, and providing regular reports to key stakeholders.
Contract Negotiation: Collaborate with internal teams to negotiate and finalize new contracts, amendments, and change orders.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the contract lifecycle.
Occasional Travel: Undertake occasional travel within the UK to attend client meetings, review operations, and strengthen relationships.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, legal or related field.
Proven experience in commercial management of in life outsourcing contracts, particularly within the public sector.
Strong understanding of terms and conditions, SLAs, and in life contract management.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to analyse data and drive decisions based on key performance indicators.
Demonstrated experience in driving profitability within contractual agreements.
Flexibility to travel occasionally within the UK.
