LOCATION(S): Bristol or EdinburghHOURS: Full timeWORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in one of the above offices About this opportunityWe have an opportunity for an experienced Finance professional to join us in our Commercial Banking function in a 12 Month Fixed Term contract. Taking ownership and working collaboratively are capabilities that we value highly as are commerciality and effective communication skills. Day to day you’ll;Support PI initiatives through collaboration with Finance SMEs across Group Cost Management and the wider Finance team. You will be required to engage with different teams across the business to deliver the best strategic solutions to the problems identified.Be responsible for helping to create a culture of Process Improvement, increasing the focus and quality of Process Improvement across the Group Cost Management team by demonstrating the right values and ways of working.Build strong relationships, be visible to key stakeholders, and work collaboratively to ensure improvement initiatives are delivered effectively and efficiently.Uncover, understand and deliver Process Improvement initiatives:Support the team to understand and document processes, customer views, identification and validation of problems and 'waste', agreeing the most appropriate opportunities for improvementCollaborate to identify solutions and agree the best way forward with SMEs, and suppliersTrack delivery of improvement projects, and manage plans, risks, issues, dependenciesAbout usIf you think all banks are the same, you’d be wrong. A bank that’s empowering its people to innovate, explore possibilities and grow with purpose. What you’ll needIdeally, the successful candidate will have proven experience of identifying and delivering process improvements or change initiatives and have experience of working in Finance.Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Powerpoint)SAP and TM1 experiencePart qualified Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or other) or qualified by experienceAnd any experience of these would be really usefulTo successfully deliver in this role, you will build strong relationships, be visible to key stakeholders, and work collaboratively to ensure improvement initiatives are delivered effectively and efficiently.
