Position Summary
Biocon Biologics, a leading global biopharmaceutical company, is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the role of Commercial Assistant for our UK & Ireland cluster. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in helping our team execute sales, marketing, and access initiatives to drive growth and market penetration for our expanding biologics portfolio in the UK & Ireland.
Role/Job Description
Position Overview:
Biocon Biologics is currently seeking a Commercial Assistant professional to join our UK & Ireland Cluster team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning of the commercial team, assist Key Account Managers, Marketing & Access Lead and Cluster Head with operational tasks, and deliver exceptional customer service internally/externally.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
Manage day-to-day operations, including answering customer inquiries, handling correspondence, and organizing meetings.
Assist with travel arrangements, expense/budget reporting, and other administrative tasks as required.
Operational Activity Support:
Collaborate with KAMs, MAL & CH to provide administrative assistance in managing customer accounts and contracts.
Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and other materials for the commercial team.
Facilitate promotional materials approval workflows working with MAL and Medical colleagues.
Coordinate communication between internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
Customer Service - Product Marketing:
Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries related to product marketing, providing timely and accurate information.
Support marketing initiatives by coordinating promotional materials, organizing events, and managing customer databases.
Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Open Mindset and Adaptability:
Embrace a proactive and flexible approach to work, willing to take on new tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
Stay updated on company policies, procedures, and industry trends to continuously improve performance and effectiveness.
Utilize Veeva SF software effectively for administrative tasks and reporting purposes.
Background & Experience Required
7+ years of previous experience in office administration or administrative support roles within the life sciences/Pharma /Biotech industry.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with administrative software systems like Veeva Promomats an advantage.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability to fast-paced work environments.
