Commercial Asset Manager (Renewables)

Summary
An international solar developer, owner and operator are seeking a Commercial Asset Manager to manage their UK solar portfolio. The company are constructing 300MW+ in Solar PV / BESS this year, a portfolio which will require management once constructed, and you will help lead on the management of these assets. You will be a proactive individual with a strong understanding of the UK regulatory landscape to lead our client’s asset portfolio to success. This is a remote role with travel to London once a month (or more if preferred).
Responsibilities
As Commercial Asset Manager, you will manage the commercial aspects of the company’s UK Solar portfolio.
You will ensure the commercial success of the solar portfolio including managing the solar and BESS assets and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
You will aim to maximise asset returns via efficiency analysis and compliance monitoring.
You’ll also be responsible for analysing financial data, supporting company growth initiatives, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This includes managing insurance claims and resolving legal issues.
Other responsibilities include maintaining safety standards during solar/ BESS asset construction, as well as the efficient management of operational budgets.
Requirements
3+ years' experience in Commercial Asset Management or Technical Asset Management essential
Renewables experience in Solar PV and/or BESS essential
Financial knowledge of Solar PV/ BESS and other renewable energy projects preferred
Familiarity with the UK electricity market and grid regulation is desirable.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
