Role & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Analyst to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing support to the Power BI function and to assist the group with reporting needs. Majority of time spent will be compiling reports and information.
Responsibilities
To assist with the production of the following in accordance with required timescales, deadlines and standards of accuracy:
Develop / Update the Consolidated budget model
Develop / Maintain the monthly board reporting pack
Maintain and develop UK internal / external reporting framework
Maintain and develop overseas reporting framework
Ensure that Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality management policies and procedures are adhered to as appropriate to work being undertaken
Helping improve departmental reporting processes
Supporting the company with training for Power Bi users
Assisting with ad-hoc reporting requirements across the business
About you:
Essential:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in industry
Experience of working to deadlines and under pressure
Knowledge and experience of working with ERP packages
Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel/Office
Proficiency in Power BI, including experience with data modelling, DAX calculations and report development
Desirable:
Experience of having worked in an engineering environment
Microsoft Certifications PL-300 or PL-900
Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases

This a full time permanent position, based in our head office in Liverpool with the option of hybrid working. The working hours are Monday to Friday 37.5 hours.
