We have an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation operating on a global basis in a fast-paced sector! Embarking on a period of expansion and transformation, the business is offering a unique offering to its customers worldwide and is forecasting continued high growth. The Commercial Analyst will join the business to help define key data flows and deliver key data driven insights.

The client is looking for people who are highly commercial with strong analytical ability. Personality wise you will be someone who is able to breakdown a problem and be able (and willing) to make a decision. The client is a strong believer that it is ok to make mistakes, to then learn and move forward. If you enjoy the process of analytics but also enjoy creating the process, then this could be the role for you.

This opportunity could suit someone who is looking for a first step into an analytical role, but equally will suit someone who has experience in a commercial analytical or pricing role.

The Analyst role is a permanent position paying up to £42,000 + fantastic bonus potential.

HYBRID WORKING - 2 days working from home and 3 in the office. Candidates MUST be able to commute to the Heathrow area.

Role Overview:

Deriving insight from analysis of commercial data to uncover opportunities for improvement
Stakeholder work with sales to implement changes
Identifying and creating key metrics to support and measures improvements to pricing processes
Help to identify opportunities to improve the capability either through system change or process improvement using insight from analysis of commercial data
Contribute to new metrics and benefits tracking methods
Working with other colleagues to test the details of the new pricing tool and changes required

What you will bring to the role:

Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
Strong numeracy and analytical skills
Strong communication, influencing and team working skills, excellent level of written/spoken English required
Ability to source and analyse complex data using tools such as sql and Excel
Self- starter: able to work on own initiative, make decisions and implement them
Organised and disciplined - able to manage delivery of multiple objectives
Displays confidence and resilience, plus an energy to deliver results
Ability to introduce new ways of thinking and an open mindedness to doing this differently
Driven to deliver on time, every time
