Job DescriptionBlair West is working in partnership with the Inn Collection Group as they look to expand their growing FP&A function with the appointment of a Commercial Analyst in a newly created role.Reporting to the Head of FP&A, this is a strategically vital appointment to help the business realise its data strategy as it goes through aggressive, acquisition-led growth.The opportunity:Understand and expand the current Power Bi suite, including improving Power Bi reporting.Analyse and report key business units, as directed by the Head of FP&A and undertaken personally, to provide insight into business unit performance.Analysing and reporting operational and financial KPIs.Ownership and operation of business forecasting and budgeting model and systems, expanding scenario and sensitivity planning and consolidating stakeholder input.Develop reports for the broader organisation to utilise data better to aid decision-making.Work with Group Data Analyst on data mining and model creation/maintenance.Production of scalable Power Bi reports and data models tailored to business units and users.You'll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:PowerBi reporting and modelling experience.Advanced Excel knowledge; Power Query etc.Experience with data mining and modelling.Astute Commercial acumen/experience in a commercial environment.Good working knowledge of Python/SQL or a desire to learn.An analytical mindset and eye for detail.Strong interpersonal skills and experience in stakeholder management.The ability to manage one's own workload and work to a high standard.The benefits included with this opportunity:25 days annual leave + bank holidays, and an additional paid leave day in the birthday month.Company Pension Scheme.50% off food for any Inn for up to 6 people.1/3 off room bookings year-round in all Inns.£1 B&B stay in any Inn during January, February, and March.Our commitment:Blair West is an equal-opportunity employer.
