Job DescriptionDue to our continued growth, we are delighted to confirm that we are currently seeking an experienced and confident Administrator to join Fortem, based in Birmingham (B29).This is a busy, varied role offering you an opportunity to utilise your administrative and organisational skills and really make a difference within this Social Housing contract.You will be guided and trained by an exceptional Management team.You will ensure high levels of Administration support and branch support is provided, supporting the overall delivery of a large capital works programme, where we will be responsible for enhancements to properties, including Bathrooms, Kitchens and Roofs.The role will require you to complete general administration duties to a high and accurate standard, taking ownership of work, demonstrating great organisation skills, enabling forward planning and meeting of deadlines by prioritising work.Key duties and responsibilitiesRecording of timely and accurate information, including direct operative and subcontractor/supplier informationAllocation of purchase orders and invoices including checking against order valuesSending out material & subcontract enquiry documentation, undertaking comparisons and raising of purchase/subcontractor ordersLogging accurate documentation and/or correspondenceEntering Electrical Testing Programme and CertificatesManaging full compliance with the standards, documents library and forms libraryDirect support to the commercial management functionEssential Experience in an administrative roleOffice suite experience – Word & ExcelDesirable:2/3 in business/office administration within the Construction industryWillingness to travel if required by the businessWhat do we need for you?We need someone to join and support our team who is proactive, customer focused, approachable with a can do attitude.At Fortem we look for a balance of skills and experience but just as important to us are your values and behaviours.
