About Our Client The company is a well-established social housing contractor within the property industry and work across a wide range of contracts across the UK. This region covers the West Midlands work across a number of contracts working alongside social housing providers, local authorities and housing associations.
Job Description Your role will involve working alongside the commercial team and helping them with tasks involving and related to: Assist in managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects.Perform risk, value management and cost control during projects.Prepare and analyse project costings for tenders.Assist in establishing client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies.Work closely with the construction team to ensure project budgets are adhered to.Assist in the negotiation of contracts and work schedules.Assist in the preparation of bills of quantities.Perform cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
The Successful Applicant If you already have experience of the above then this would be advantageous but if not - there will be training provided if you already have experience within a construction based role. This role would suit someone looking for the next step in their commercial career and who has ideally either experience in or interest in the repairs/maintenance side of the social housing sector.
