Commercial Accountant

NXTGEN offers a unique opportunity for a new Commercial Accountant to join a rapidly expanding local Accountancy firm based in Norwich. Over the past 18 months, the firm has achieved unparalleled success, consistently winning new business and clients across various sectors, making this an exceptionally exciting time to join the team. In the role of Commercial Accountant, you will be an integral part of supporting the Managers, on a small portfolio of key clients and due to how client facing this role is, you will really get to know clients, working closely with them to support their success and making a difference. You will actively engage in preparing Accounts, VAT, and Tax reports for clients, in addition to supervising the workload of our wider team.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Preparing Management Accounts and Financial Statements for clients.
• Providing assistance with VAT and Tax submissions for clients.
• Supporting the wider team and business group with ad hoc projects
• Collaborating closely with the Director to support the smooth operation of day-to-day activities within the firm.

This fantastically modern firm, are seeking this the successful candidate to be newly or fully qualified (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with prior experience in an Accountancy practice. While a background in general practice and accounts preparation is preferred, individuals with experience in Audit or Tax are also encouraged to apply.
