COMAH Plant Manager

Job DescriptionElevation Recruitment Group are working alongside a COMAH-regulated chemical site to recruit a Plant Manager to join their fast paced production facility in Rotherham.This Plant Manager role is a great opportunity for you to take the lead! You will make key decisions for the plant whilst developing the team and improving efficiencies.Our client is looking for a dynamic Plant Manager who will embrace change and continuously seek opportunities to drive the site forward.Duties and responsibilities of the Plant Manager include:Overall accountability for the site including production, facilities and on site tenants Ensuring the safe, efficient and cost-effective management of employees and servicesBudget responsibility and ownership for the production cost centreEnsure compliance with COMAH regulations and Health & Safety legislationAct as a primary contact with the HSE and all external parties, ensuring continuing compliance Implement and manage stock accuracy and control proceduresTo be successful in the Plant Manager role you will need to have the following skills and experience:HNC or HND qualification in a related subjectPrevious experience in a COMAH regulated business is essential Experience in operational and facilities managementHighly safety conscious with a working knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety legislation and ISO9001:2008 – ISO14001 operating procedures and systemsNEBOSH certified or working towards qualification (IOSH as a minimum)Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others and embrace changeExcellent business and financial competence with proven budget leadership skillsCollaborative people management skills with a passion for engaging and developing others This is an exciting opportunity for a Plant Manager to join a global company that invests in their employees and provides opportunities for individuals to grow and excel.Apply now or for a confidential discussion please contact Anna Morgan or Emma Bartholomew
