About The Role:
We are currently recruiting for a coach driver for our client based on the outskirts of Ashford. This role would suit an experienced semi retired coach driver who is looking for a bit of work on the side to keep them busy with a bit of flexibility.
Coach Driver
Location: Ashford and surrounding areas (with a primary base to be discussed upon application).
Hours: Flexible.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport passengers to and from various destinations, adhering to scheduled routes and times.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the coach is in excellent condition and report any issues or maintenance needs.
Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting passengers warmly.
Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle at all times.
Comply with all traffic regulations and company policies regarding safety and driving.
Handle payments and ticketing when required.
Stay informed about road conditions and adjust routes if necessary to ensure the safety and timely arrival of passengers.
Requirements:
Valid Cat D licence
A clean driving licence (Max 6 points)
Excellent navigational skills and familiarity with GPS devices.
Proven experience as a bus or coach driver
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
