CNC PROGRAMMER/OPERATOR AND WOOD MACHINIST



Location: Lancaster



Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Your Role: We are in search of an experienced and organized candidate with a minimum of 3 years of working experience in the custom furniture and cabinet making industry.



Knowledge:




  • Proficiency in traditional wood machining

  • Ability to operate and program 5-axis CNC, with training provided for 6th Axis work

  • Experience with Alphacam CAD/CAM programming

  • Competency in reading and interpreting technical drawings for construction

  • Discerning eye for timber selection

  • Capability to plan work to meet production deadlines

  • Ingenuity in devising inventive fixtures and jigs

  • First aid trained or willingness to learn

  • Forklift truck license or willingness to learn

Key Details:




  • Salary commensurate with experience

  • Permanent position available immediately

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday

  • Located at our Lancaster workshop

  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
