CNC Turner Setter/Operator (Fanuc)
Hours: 6.00am to 4pm Monday to Thursday
Pay Rate: Dependant on experience.
We are currently recruiting for a CNC Turner (Fanuc) for our small family run subcontract machine shop.
The successful CNC Turner Setter/Operator would be expected to have knowledge of working in an JIT Engineering Environment and have experience of the following machinery and control systems.
Doosan Puma 3100LY - Doosan Fanuc i Series
Knowledge of turn/mill and GUIDE i is an advantage.
The successful candidate will be expected to be able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a small production team.

What’s the job?
* Must have fixed head Lathe experience.
* Ideally some Turn/Mill experience
* Use of Fanuc guide i an advantage
* Fanuc controls experience.
* Time Served Apprenticeship, with an appropriate craft or technical qualification (preferable).
* Able to read and interpret technical Engineering drawings.
* Able to use inspection equipment such as Micrometres and applicable gauges.
