Alecto Recruitment are now in partnership with a Precision Engineering company manufacturing high quality machined parts for a diverse range of industries throughout the UK, Europe and US. Specialising in production of all volume batches, utilising the full suite of CNC machinery and offering a complete end to end engineering package.

A position has now become available, due to an increased work load on the shop machining floor for a CNC Turner with Programming, Setting and Operating experience and abilities.

Supplying high quality CNC machined components to the Automotive, Data Acquistion, Defence, Medical, Motorsport and Robotics industries.

THE ROLE:

• Complete !st offs, prove out and inspection
• De-burr parts using various hand tools
• Meet production deadlines
• Quality inspection of parts using micrometers, verniers and gauges etc
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to BS / ISO standards
• Set and operate 2axis CNC lathes
• Working on FANUC controls
• Working independently and as part of a team
• Carry out any other duties as required and deemed appropriate

THE CANDIDATE:

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
• Able to work under pressure and to deadlines with a high level of quality standards achieved
• Computer literate with excellent understanding of CNC programmes
• Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
• Program editing experience and G code knowledge essential
• Skilled in setting and operating CNC lathes

THE OFFERINGS:

• Permanent Full Time position
• Monday - Thursday 07:30am - 16:00pm
• Friday 07:30am - 15:00pm
• Occasional Overtime when needed
• �14.00 - �16.50 per hour (�29,5000 - �33,500 per annum)
