JMC are working with an FBO company based in Stansted, looking to recruit a new CNC Setter/Operator to join their team. ����

This client is well known for outstanding levels of service in their FBO facility. As a family run business with multiple decades of experience, they strive for excellence throughout their skilled workforce as they deal with in-house engineering and support services on business jets. ����





This is a Permanent Position based in Stansted.

39 hours per week. ����

The Role:� � �

The primary purpose of this role is to operate the CNC Machines and ensure all work meets requirements and timelines. ����

Other duties involve: ����




  • Running 3, 4, or 5-axis CNC machines. �����

  • Where required, programme machines in line with technical information provided �����

  • Set up the tooling required to produce parts �����

  • Carry out first offs to ensure parts meet quality and technical requirements specified �����

  • Run product batches to technical requirements �����

  • Check dimensions prior to passing for Inspection ������ �



In order to be successful in this role the CNC Setter/Operator will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes: ����




  • Proven experience in a CNC Setter/Operator role using 3/4/5 axis machines �����

  • Experience of Siemens controls (SINUMERIK 840D-SL) is essential �����

  • Fanuc, Heidenhain or Mazatrol experience is desirable �����

  • Must be able to program/set and operate machines with Siemens controls� � �

  • Capable of using equipment for loading heavy billets �����

  • Work with engineering and the quality team to improve all aspects of the manufacturing process �����������
