Job Title; CNC Setter Operator

Key Skills; CNC Grinding, Fanuc, Mazatrol, Haas, CNC, AutoCAD, 5S

Salary; £28,000 to £32,000 plus attractive shift allowance if applicable

Shift; Days - 07.30 to 15.30 Afternoons / 15.30 to 01.00 / Nights 20.00 to 06.00 (Mon-Thurs)

These shifts are non-rotational so we can discuss your preferences upon receipt of the application.

Location; Hinckley

Commutable from; Loughborough, Leicester, Wigston, Rugby, Coventry, Hinckley, Tamworth, Nuneaton, Birmingham

Our client, a prestigious Precision Engineering company based in the heart of Leicestershire are seeking CNC Grinders to join their team. The successful candidate will assist with producing CNC precision machine parts for the automotive and aerospace sector. 

***Please note***

The role may initially require the successful individual to work a day shift until fully trained to commence on other shifts. 

The Role;

• Produce precision machine parts for the automotive and aerospace industry


• Operate Jones & Shipman Promat and Ultramat grinding machines 


• Work to production schedule and ensure meeting work targets


• Understand and carry out processes in line with ISO9001:#####


• Working with Lean manufacturing techniques, such as 5S 


• Assist with the growth of the company by generating innovate ideas


• Work on bespoke one off parts and batch orders 

Our Ideal Candidate;

• Ability to read technical drawings and accurately follow instructions 


• Good communicator with the ability to liaise with various departments from Engineering, Production and Quality 


• Previous experience working with controls such as Fanuc, Mazatrol and Haas would be advantageous 


• Experience of CNC grinding is desirable, however not essential


• Motivated individual with a ‘can do’ approach
