Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm and Friday 8am to 1pm (37 hours per week)
A well-established manufacturing company in Knowsley are seeking an experienced CNC Punch Operator to join their team. On offer is an hourly rate of �14.53 and hours are full-time Monday to Friday on days. This role is offered on a temporary to permanent basis. Full training is also offered in this position.
The main duties of a Semi-Skilled Operative are:

• Setting and operating an LVD CNC punch machine.
• Loading and unloading of sheet material.
• Reading and interpreting drawings.
• Selecting correct tools for each job.
• Managing regrinds.
• Working with thin gauge materials typically between 1.2 to 2.0mm mild steel and stainless steel.
• Working to a predetermined list from the MRP system.
• Checking quality of parts produced.
• Ensuring exemplary housekeeping standards to both work area and machine.
• Performing other duties as required by Supervisor/Manager.
• Strict adherence to company H&S policy and standard operating procedures.

To apply for this position, you must:

• Have experience in a manufacturing/tool-based environment.
• Have experience operating CNC Punch machines.
• Have a high work ethic and eagerness to learn.
• Ideally have experience of Raydan Software Advantageous.
• Have good understanding of how punch tools work, and the ability to determine when the tool is worn and ready for regrind.
