CNC Programmer, 4 day working week, Mon-Thurs, Permanent position, �30,000-�35,000 Dependent on experience.

Who this job would suit:
This role is ideal for individuals experienced in CNC programming and design, particularly those with a background in engineering. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality work are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CNC programming for machining insulation panels
  • Developing customer-specific design solutions
  • Creating manufacturing instructions and bills of materials
  • Assisting with production and quality control

Experience/Skills

  • Experience operating and setting large 3/5 axis CNC routers (e.g. SCM, Muratori, Technos)
  • Proficient using 2D CNC programming software (e.g. ArtCAM, Vetric V-Carve, Maestro)
  • Skill in using 2D CAD software (AutoCAD would be beneficial)
  • Competent with 3D CAD modelling software and producing basic engineering drawings (use of Autodesk Inventor would be an advantage)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work output.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • HNC in an Engineering Subject (or relevant experience)
