Metalis are working with a leading Tooling Manufacturing company, based in Rugby, who are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator to join their team. Our client has established a reputation for highly skilled manufacturing across the UK.

As a CNC Programmer you will be responsible for setting, operating and programming machines to produce high-quality components and products. The ideal candidate will have some experience in Programming, Setting & Operating CNC machines. They also need to have experience programming 3-5 axis machinery.

Job Duties:

• Programme, Set and Operate 3-5 axis CNC machines to produce components from various metals.
• Review and analyse technical drawings, models, and specifications to ensure accurate programming and machining.
• Troubleshoot and solve programming and machining issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to identify areas for process improvement and optimization.
• Maintain and update programming and machining documentation as needed.
• Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with company quality standards and safety protocols.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in Programming, Setting and Operating 3-5 axis CNC machines.
• Experience of using Mazak machines or Mazatrol/Heidenhain controls would be advantagous but not essential.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings, models, and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Salary & Hours:

• Salary: �16-�18ph DOE
• Hours: 07:30am - 16.15pm Monday - Thursday, 07:30am - 12:30pm Friday
• Position Type: Permanent, Full-time
