 CNC Programmer (Heidenhain)



 progressive sub contract CNC engineering company who are firmly established as a key supplier of precision engineered products to many high technology companies, both locally and internationally.



Operating from our bespoke facility we offer CNC Turning and 3, 4 and 5 Axis CNC Milling services for the Defense, Aerospace and Technology industries.



We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. As the CNC Milling Programmer, you will be responsible for programming a range of CNC milling machines, ensuring efficient production, quality output, and adherence to safety and organisational standards. Your expertise in CNC milling, offline programming, and problem-solving will be crucial in driving the success of our manufacturing processes.



This is a hands on role, the candidate would be expected to program and set with Heidenhain controls.



We are looking for a candidate who is capable of offline programming m.



Key Responsibilities



· Set up, program, and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts according to specifications and engineering drawings.



· ensuring on-time delivery of products while maintaining high levels of efficiency and minimizing downtime.



· Conduct regular inspections of machines, tools, and equipment to identify maintenance needs, promptly reporting and resolving any issues to minimize disruptions.



· Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and other relevant departments to address technical issues, improve processes, and optimize product quality.



· Troubleshoot and resolve machining problems



· Maintain accurate documentation, including production records, maintenance logs, and inspection reports, ensuring compliance with AS9100.



· Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and increased efficiency within the milling cell, proposing and implementing relevant solutions.



Our basic working hours are Mon-Thu 7.30-4.30 and Fri 7.30-12.30 + OT when available.
