CNC Programmer (4 day week)

We are currently recruiting for a CNC Miller for a Precision Engineering business supplying into the Aerospace, Motorsport, and Medical industries. Due to increase of orders across their biggest customers as well as bringing on some new customer, they have a need to an addition CNC Miller.

What does it involve?

The company is looking for an experienced CNC Miller who has experience working within a fast-paced Sub-Contract Machine Shop to machine parts on their 3, 4 and 5 axis machinery. Most machines are Heidenhain controlled.

What’s needed for me to be considered?

* Experienced CNC Miller – Skilled Programmer/Setter/Operator

* Heidenhain control programming and setting.

* Offline Programming ability – HyperMILL Advantageous

* Creating programs online and offline for 3, 4 and 5 axis machines.

* Reading of technical drawings.

* Previous experience in a machine shop environment.

* Use of handheld tools - Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Gauges etc...
