CNC Operator - Precision EngineeringLocation: Newark Area- accessible from Mansfield, Nottingham and Newark on Trent.Hours: 39 hours per week, 8.00am - 4.30 pm Mon-Thurs, 8.00am - 3.30pm FridaySalary:£24000 - £28000 per annum Depending on expereinceWe are currently looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join a busy engineering company in the Mansfield area. Due to location, you will need to drive and have your own transport.The duties of will CNC Operator include:Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design modelsLoading raw materials into the CNC machineInputting the product design into the computer modelling softwareChoosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the jobAdjusting machine settings to the desired product specificationsWorking to tight tolerancesTroubleshooting issues during the manufacturing processCompleting quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final productCleaning and maintaining the machineTraining new staff on machine operation proceduresThe ideal candidate for the role of CNC Operator will have previous experience within an precision engineering environment as well as:Expereince working to tight tolerancesStrong attention to detailExperience in interpreting technical drawings and blueprintsExperience with Audit machines, Colchester Tornado and Haas machines preferred but not essentialKnowledge of Alan Bradley, Fanuc and Haas operating systems would be an advantage but not essentialSkilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problemsExperience using vertical milling machines and lathesAbility to work independently and closely follow directionsA positive and professional attitudeA Full driving licenceDo not miss out call now 01623 656303 for an immediate interview or email you CVUnfortunately, due to the volume of applications received we are unable to respond with feedback to all applicants.
