Job Title: CNC Machine Setter/Operator Salary: �11.50 - �17.00 per hour (depending on experience)



Employment Type: Temporary with potential for permanent, 37.5 hours per week





Shifts:




  • Monday to Thursday: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm & Friday: 6:00 am to 11:30 am

  • Monday to Thursday: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm & Friday: 11:30 am to 5:00 pm



Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking multiple CNC Setter/Operators to join their expanding team. The role involves operating and setting CNC machines to ensure efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and meeting deadlines.





Key Responsibilities:




  • Operate and set CNC machines, ensuring efficient production and adherence to quality standards.

  • Experience with Fanuc controller, ability to edit CNC programs, and use CMM for inspections.

  • Responsible for quality control, including cleaning and deburring of parts.

  • Maintain a 5S standard and adhere to safety protocols.

  • Set machines using setup sheets, tooling/fixtures, and Edgecam programs provided by the Production Engineering Department.

  • Monitor performance and conduct in-cycle inspections using micrometers, verniers, and coordinate measuring machine reports.

  • Promptly report non-conforming parts and document root causes.





Essential Skills and Experience:




  • Proficient in both manual and CNC production machining.

  • Knowledge of working with Duplex and Nickel Alloy materials.

  • Strong numerical and literacy skills, ability to interpret drawings and perform metric conversions.

  • Experience in machine part inspections using gauges.

  • Ability to operate multiple similar machines.
