CNC Miller

We're currently seeking a skilled CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our client's team in Huddersfield.�The ideal candidate will need to be able to handle large one off components for machining and able to use Heidenheim programme. You must be able to�program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines.

Hours of work will be 7.30am-4pm.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.


• Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency.


• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to keep them in optimal working condition.


• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements.


• Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Miller, with a strong understanding of milling techniques and CNC programming.


• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.


• Familiarity with a variety of materials, including metals and plastics.


• Ability to use precision measurement tools and equipment to verify part dimensions.


• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
