Our client is looking for a CNC Miller Setter/Operator to join their team on the late shift in the Basingstoke area.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
* Setting and operating both horizontal and vertical CNC Mills with Fanuc & Yasnac controls.
* Selecting correct tools, fixtures and programs for CNC machines.
* Re-setting machines for operators when required.
* In cycle and final de-burring prior to passing on to the next stage of production.
* Reading engineering drawings and programme for CNC machines.
* Carry out in-process inspection to drawing specification using a variety of measuring equipment e.g., micrometers.
* Management of programming updates and programming for new components.
* Adhere to company quality standards and procedures.
Ideally, you will have:
* A recognised Engineering Apprenticeship.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* A positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
* Accurate numeracy skills and attention to detail.
* Experience manufacturing precision components for the Aerospace or Motorsport industry.
* Knowledge of Fanuc and Yasnac controlled horizontal & vertical CNC mills will be an advantage.
Please note that this is a Late Shift, Monday to Thursday type of role, 40 hours per week.
Working hours are 14:00 - 00:30 for which our client is willing to pay between �15 - �18 per hour (depending on experience) + late shift premium.
