CNC Miller Operator – Luton, Bedfordshire

Are you a machinist with a passion for precision and quality? We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller Operator to join our client’s team in Luton, Bedfordshire. Your skills and dedication will play a crucial role in manufacturing top-tier piece parts and sub-assemblies.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Master the operation of various machine tools with a flexible approach.


• Set up and operate Bridgeport CNC/manual mills, cylindrical/surface grinders, and occasionally perform manual turning of parts to exact drawing specifications.


• Modify tooling, including jigs, fixtures, templates, and moulds or dies, to ensure accurate part and assembly production.


• Use Epicor systems for logging work times to maintain booking compliance.


• Support continuous improvement efforts, utilizing LEAN concepts and structured problem-solving techniques.

What You Will Need:

• Proven experience as a Machine Operator in precision manufacturing.


• A time-served craft apprenticeship is an asset.


• Able to work 37 hours/week on double day shift (alternate weeks)
