CNC Machinist

Opportunity is around the corner as Pertemps are currently working in partnership with a leading manufacturing company based in Lincoln, looking for a Machine Operative to join their manufacturing team. You will need a background of working with CNC machines (setting and operating), ensuring parts conform to the drawings provided.

How much will I be earning?
£22,687 to £29,460 (DOE) plus shift premiums

What hours will I be working?
A Shift – Monday to Thursday 6:00am – 1:35pm / Friday 6:00am – 12:45pm
B Shift – Monday to Thursday 1:25pm – 9:05pm / Friday 12:35pm – 7:00pm (plus 20% Premium)
C Shift - Monday to Thursday 8:55pm to 06:10am / Friday – no shift. (plus 30% Premium)

What will I be doing?

Setting/operating CNC machines – multi-manning as and when required.
Making sure processed parts conform to drawing.
Ensuring all documentation is accurate.
Supporting other team-members as required.
Achieving Production/Arrears/Quality/Efficiency targets as identified by Production Management.
Ensuring parts are processed in the allotted time and they all conform to drawings.

What we are looking for:

An individual with CNC Machine operating/setting experience.
An NVQ in Engineering Manufacturing or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
Excellent eye for detail.
A diligent individual who has exceptional interpersonal skills.
Previous experience of working in an engineering environment.
Grade C or above in both English language and Maths GCSEs.
