CNC Machine Operative

Pertemps Lincoln are seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join our customers team in Lincoln. We are working with a local, Lincoln based, engineering firm who are looking to add a CNC Machine Operative to their already successful team. As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for programming and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality parts and components.

What will I be doing?
Programming CNC machines using CAD/CAM software.
Setting up and operating the CNC machine.
Monitoring machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality output.
Inspecting finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues that may arise during the machining process.
Working with engineers and designers to optimize machining processes.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

What skills do I need?
Proficiency in basic math calculations for precise measurements and calculations
Strong mechanical knowledge to understand machine operations and troubleshoot issues.
Familiarity with tooling and tool maintenance
Experience with logic controllers for programming CNC machines.
Knowledge of hand tools for machine setup and adjustment
Experience working in a warehouse environment with materials handling.
Ability to assemble components according to specifications.

What hours will I be working?
Monday to Thursday 0700 to 1600
Friday 0700 to 1200

What will I be paid?
£23,300 to £32,400. This is dependent on your experience.
