CMM Operator/ Quality Inspector

My client is a leading global Precision Engineering & Manufacturing company, specialising in integrated solutions for Aerospace, Defence, Medical, and related industries. We are seeking an experienced CMM Operator/ Quality Inspector who is dedicated and detail-oriented individual. In this role, you will you be reporting to the Operations Manager and supporting the inspection function of the site, operating a CMM machine, conducting 'first off' and final inspections, and in-process checks and First Article Inspection reports. Additionally, you will cover a general quality engineering role, including the calibration of onsite measurement equipment.Key Responsibilities:Perform all inspection duties in compliance with operating, workplace, and customer specifications.Ensure machining process compliance according to company and customer requirements.Interpret and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.We are looking for a dedicated individual with excellent attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and a strong 'can do' attitude. The ideal candidate should be a good communicator, capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team. You must have experience within this role or demonstrable work history in a similar setting and expertise in operating CMM machinery, competence with handheld manual measuring equipment, a history in precision engineering, familiarity with AS9100/9001 quality management systems, and knowledge of aerospace specifications.
