As Cluster Sales Manager you will work with your HODs and GMs to pro-actively drive the Hotel Action plan to grow top line revenue in all commercial segments of the business, from Corporate Transient room sales; to Groups, M eeting and Events
and Food & Beverage. Reporting into the Regional Director of Sales, you will ensure that both brands are represented whilst actively looking for new opportunities and cross selling all hotels within the MHDV portfolio.
You will manage and lead the enquiry process, ensure the training and communication within the department and across the two hotels is implemented with maximum efficiency and develop strong relationships with local businesses who either use, or have the potential to use, our hotels. Working with the Social Media and Marketing teams, you will promote your hotels to showcase our local and brand activities - local events, networking, wedding fairs, food and beverage offers, special events.
You will be a self starter,
organised,
and able to prioritize actions whilst managing tasks through to completion.
It goes without saying that excellent communication skills are essential, as is confidence in presenting to senior decision makers externally and internally.
Experience in a similar role would be beneficial, as would a working knowledge of the Hotel industry. We are looking for a pro-active, creative and well-connected person who loves to get out there, spreading the word about our brands. Malmaison Reading and Hotel du Vin Henley are two incredible properties, each with a unique history, in sought after locations across the Thames Valley. They attract business and leisure guests alike, as well as local supporters of our brands who enjoy using our hotels for social gatherings and special celebrations.
