We are looking to hire an Azure Architect to join our growing company.Your role will be to provide IT consultancy to a range of clients. Based within our Cloud & Infrastructure Consultancy team, you will be working with Codec customers on the scoping, design and delivery of a variety of Azure solutions across several industry sectors. You will work in a project environment where the emphasis is on delivering first class service to our clients - The objective is to demonstrate the value of their existing and future platforms.The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving aptitude and a strong understanding of the Microsoft frameworks such as the Cloud Adoption Framework and Well Architected Framework.Present strong leadership capabilities and proficient in both verbal and written communications. Key Competencies• Must have strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills and be able to build relationships at all levels of the organisation • Influence, shaping solutions, negotiation and consultative skill• Excellent project management skills including successful leadership of projects from planning phase through completion • Be able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:
Provide presales assistance where required including working on tender responses.
Meeting with clients to architect a cloud-based solution based on their needs.
Knowledge of how the architecture is determined will need to be demonstrated.
Compile a high/low level design document based on the outcome of the customer meetings
Hold workshops with customers / potential customer on various topics.
Provide escalation point to the Service desk with more difficult issues
Assist customers with cost management
Work with internal teams to streamline the project deployment work by making use of deployment pipelines.
