Cloud Engineer - Cloud Forensic/ Volexity Solutions
UK (Remote)
12 Month Contract - Inside IR35

We are building a team of experienced Engineers to work as part of a security transformation project with one of our financial services clients, and looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer with specific experience and knowledge of Cloud Forensic & Volexity Solutions, ideally with experience working within the financial services sector.
Job Description:
As an experienced Cloud Engineer you will have experience in building in cloud environments, including AWS, Azure and GCP. You will use state-of-the-art tools and techniques to introspect cloud environments, apply security best practices and to develop automated security infrastructure. You will partner closely with architects and developers across the company doing DevSecOps to enable rapid iteration in cloud environments while maintaining the highest security standards.
Primary Responsibilities
in Cloud Forensic & Volexity solutions that align with corporate level strategies.
review and maintain Cloud Forensic/Volexity documentation including documenting & publishing fixes on Confluence
with global teams to provide consistent processes and solutions.
to lead technical and strategic conversations with respect to M365 and can advise partners on complex technical deployments and guidance navigating M365 products and features.
Technical Skills & Competencies
working in cloud environments (Azure or AWS)
in developing Cloud formation template for deployment of infrastructure in AWS Cloud
in testing and troubleshooting connectivity between Infra components – ensuring full app stack is working as expected before beginning user testing
in scripting languages, Powershell/Bash Shell and Python/Ruby/JAVA/.NET
in carrying out automation in an operational environment using Chef
in integrating Elastic Search with Application
with Windows as well as Red Hat Linux Operating System
analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
basic understanding of cloud security best practices, Forensics, threat modelling, and offensive techniques.
with Scrum/Agile development.
understanding of and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
are a plus but not required (Azure AZ900, Google Associate Cloud Sec Engineer, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Certified Kubernetes Application Developer)
with SIEM tools and Security Controls and Tooling
of dealing with incident, problem and change management processes.
documentation skills
Desirable:
Experience in the financial sector
Kusto Query Language (KQL) skills.
Knowledge of Veloxity or Cloud Forensics
