Cloud Engineer

They are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join their expanding IT department to lend their Cloud expertise across various IT projects. Being static is not what this company is about. You will receive a starting salary of up to £55,000, plus access to some great benefits including annual bonus scheme, private medical insurance, employee retailer discount scheme, cycle to work scheme and opportunity to buy or sell holidays.
Roles & Responsibilities
Working across a variety of cloud-based IT projects, including Azure, AWS, Telephony, Security & Networks
Performing complex troubleshooting in virtualisation platforms such as Azure, VMWare, and Hyper-V
Resolving issues and handling escalations around migrations projects of on premise to cloud
Implement load balancing, caching, and content delivery solutions to ensure high performance and availability
Provide subject matter expertise around cloud system upgrades, IT security reviews and processes
Background & Experience
Demonstrable experience with Azure services, including storage, networks, and databases
Degree qualified in Computer Science or related technical subject
First class stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-divisional teams
Ability to troubleshoot complex cloud issues and resolve end point escalations in an efficient manner
Certified cloud qualifications desirable but not essential
