Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and deployment of robust cloud infrastructure solutions, utilising cutting-edge technologies.
Manage daily monitoring and maintenance of our cloud systems, prioritising high availability and performance.
Collaborate on refining our cloud infrastructure roadmap, aligning with our business objectives and growth strategy.
Provide technical expertise and guidance for cloud-related projects, driving best practices and ensuring successful implementation.
Become a subject matter expert in cloud infrastructure, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.
Implement automation solutions to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Champion security best practices, safeguarding the integrity and confidentiality of our cloud environment.
Lead troubleshooting efforts and manage escalations to minimise downtime and optimise performance.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in system administration and engineering, with a focus on cloud infrastructure.
Proven track record in designing, deploying, and managing enterprise-level cloud solutions. (At least 3 as a guide)
Technical proficiency in cloud infrastructure technologies, with expertise in platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Strong understanding of virtualisation, networking, and datacentre technologies.
Proficiency in scripting and automation for managing cloud environments.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Solid project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and deliver on multiple initiatives.
Self-driven with a passion for learning and adapting to evolving technologies and business needs.
