The Role
As a
Technical Cloud Architect , you would be expected to undertake structured analysis of technical issues and subsequently translate this analysis into technical design that describes the solution. You will collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and reuse technical components. The role requires you to resolve technical disputes between wider peers and indirect stakeholders, considering all views and opinions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess Technical Responses (RFI and RFPs) & make preferred recommendations to feed into final tender decisions.
Stakeholder management wherein multiple technical teams will be involved.
End-to-end solution design for agile product teams.
Support, advise, and influence teams in building and maintaining Product/Feature roadmap, planning and in setting Sprint Goals.
Support, advise, and influence technical debt vs features choices, providing advice of skills required within the team.
Support positive collaboration with other and external teams that form part of the solution or roadmap.
Document the architecture and high-level solution designs including peer reviews and alignment to principles, standards, and reference architecture.
Your Profile
Key Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
Good experience of defining RFPs and RFIs.
Hands on experience in Java/Spring boot or node.js, express framework, Git, Kafka and CI/CD Pipelines.
Strong experience in AWS Cloud.
AWS PaaS such as: KMS, Secrets Manager, AWS DocumentDB, RDS Postgres, SQS.
Automated testing, contract testing, Trunk based development and Git Flow.
CDDO Service Standards and API First.
Application architecture experience with experience of working in microservices and event driven architecture.
Broad hands-on knowledge of AWS infrastructure & Security solutions and Services, in production environments.
