Job Title: Cloud Architect (Azure)
Sector: IT Solutions Provider and Managed Services
Location: UK, predominately home-based role, although being able to get to client sites in major cities like London, Cardiff and Manchester is important. Living somewhere with good transport links or your willingness to drive to UK wide locations is needed occasionally
Salary: Up to £90,000 plus benefits
Foundations Executive Search are hiring an Azure Cloud Architect for our client, who are an IT company that provide a wide variety of public and private sector organisations with technology solutions and services.
As a member of the professional services team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects including assisting with the scoping and initial pre-sales discussions, designing the solutions and deployment of services.
Technologies:
Azure services compute, storage, backup and network.
Extensive Microsoft 365 knowledge.
Knowledge across Windows and Linux operating systems.
Virtualisation knowledge across VM Ware or Hyper V.
Containerisation tool Kubernetes or Docker.
Awareness of IaC and DevOps.
Nice to have, not essential:
Python
Ansible
TOGAF
ITIL
Key Duties:
Working in collaboration with the sales team and end client to pinpoint their business needs, technical requirements and objectives.
Taking a solutions-led approach you will design cloud solutions aligned to the initial needs-analysis and technical scoping. Creating the architecture, technical diagrams and presentations.
As a SME you will demonstrate the key features and benefits of the solutions on offer to customers, including the proposal development across solutions architecture, implementation plans and cost estimates.
Implement and deploy tailored cloud solutions.
Work on a wide variety of projects from security assessments to cloud migrations and endpoint management.
